Liziba Station (Station Number: 207) is located at No. 39 Liziba Zhengjie, Yuzhong District, Chongqing. It is China’s first straddle-type monorail elevated station integrated with a commercial-residential building. Managed and operated by Chongqing Rail Transit (Group) Co., Ltd., it is part of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 2.
Construction and Operation
- Construction began in 2000.
- Completed in March 2004.
- Trial sightseeing operations started on December 11, 2004.
- Officially opened for trial operations on June 18, 2005.
